Phillipians 3:14 – “pressing on”

https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/tenacious/

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” Phil 3:14

What keeps you going when you feel like all hope is lost? what drives you everyday to be better than yesterday? when you win, do you just celebrate and be comfortable with the day’s success or do you look forward to a greater win next time? what is your source of strength? what motivates you to be better?

I live through each day with faith and hope that a greater cause awaits me, that great joy and happiness awaits and that i have to keep going looking forward to when I’ll finally settle for what God has prepared for me.

Holding on to something yet to come is motivation to take us through each day even when we are weak. knowing that there is something great awaiting us and that we should not tire but hold on tight to what we don’t know but what we believe is greater than what we have seen.

Keep pressing on towards the goal for which Christ holds for you. Even when you succeed; know that there is greater success for which you can not relax but have to give all your effort so that when all your work on earth is finally done, you can enjoy eternal peace with Christ Jesus.

I am pressing on and holding on tight to a higher calling which Christ holds for me. What are you holding on to?
